These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Health Pilot mobile application and related backend services (together, the "App"), provided to you subject to these Terms. By downloading, installing, or using Health Pilot, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

If you downloaded the App from the Google Play Store, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create an account and use Health Pilot. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The App is designed for individuals managing their own personal health information.

2. What Health Pilot Is

Health Pilot is a personal health tracking tool that lets you:

  • Log vitals — blood sugar, blood pressure, weight, body temperature, and blood oxygen (SpO2).
  • Track water intake, medicines and dose schedules, medical appointments, and a symptom & mood journal.
  • Store medical documents and prescriptions in a private Document Vault.
  • Generate AI-powered health summaries, diet plans, and document/report analysis, using Google Gemini.
  • Generate an emergency (SOS) health card from your existing profile data — this is produced on our own server and does not use AI.
  • Receive on-device reminders for medicines and appointments.
  • Protect the App with an optional biometric App Lock.

3. Not Medical Advice

Health Pilot does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All information, summaries, alerts, diet plans, and AI-generated insights in the App are for informational and personal record-keeping purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions, and seek immediate emergency care for urgent symptoms — do not rely on the App in an emergency.

Health data you log (including medicines, allergies, and conditions) is entered by you, and we do not verify its medical accuracy. AI-generated content is produced automatically and may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect; you are responsible for reviewing it critically before acting on it.

4. Your Account

  • You may create an account and log in using your email and password (with OTP verification), or using "Sign in with Google." If you use Sign in with Google, you authorize us to receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier from Google to create and verify your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your health data accurate to the best of your knowledge, for your own benefit.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • You must not access, or attempt to access, another user's account or data, or misuse the App in any way that could harm the App or other users.
  • You may delete your account at any time from More → App Settings → Account → Delete Account, as described in our Data Deletion Policy.

5. Pricing

Health Pilot is currently offered free of charge, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If we introduce paid plans or premium features in the future, we will clearly present the pricing and terms in the App before you are charged, and any such purchases will be processed through Google Play's billing system and governed by Google Play's policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, networks, or security features.
  • Upload documents or content that you do not have the right to store or that infringe another person's rights.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the health data and documents you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content; we process it only to provide the App's features, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services to operate certain features, including Google Gemini for AI-generated content, Google Sign-In for account authentication, and cloud infrastructure for hosting and storage. Your use of these features is also subject to the availability and behaviour of these third-party services, which are outside our control.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Health Pilot and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any health outcomes, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or if required to comply with applicable law. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Data Deletion Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
